Visit historic Perryville on Apr. 13

On Saturday, April 13, we’ll be guests of the town of historic Perryville, Ky. Those who want to travel with the group from Lexington should gather at the new Chick Fil-A on Harrodsburg Rd. at Madrone Way (outside Man o’ War Blvd.) for an 8:30 a.m. departure.
Jeff and Mary Rhoads will lead the group to “Mr. Kwik” at the corner of U.S. 68 and U.S. 127 in Harrodsburg. There, at 10 a.m., we’ll meet Harold and Jane Edwards, who will lead from there.
We’ll drive to the Perryville Battlefield for a 30-minute mini-tour, and then travel to the Bottom House Bed & Breakfast for a catered lunch featuring chicken salad, country ham and pimiento cheese sandwiches; a vegetable tray; a brownie platter; a variety of soft drinks; tea and lemonade.
Lunch will be served indoors. There is no charge for lunch, but you must reserve your spot by Saturday, April 6. Text or call Dan Yeager at (859) 321-5527 with your name and the number attending lunch. If you need to cancel after that date, please let Dan know. Someone else might want your spot! After lunch, you can browse for antiques along Merchants’ Row in Old Town Perryville.

Sept. 28 — Mystery Tour (Jeff and Mary Rhoads).
Oct. 19-20 — Overnight tour to Lawrenceburg, Indiana (Jeff and Mary Rhoads).
Nov. 2 — Cars & Coffee at Blue Grass Stockyards in Lexington (Delmer and Linda Dalton).
Dec. 14 — CKMARC holiday potluck and business meeting in Lexington (John and Karen Blair; Jeff and

Jan. 25, 2025 — Winter potluck at Rabbit Run Recreation Center in Lexington (Delmer and Linda Dalton).
