If you're hoping to hang out with movie stars at fancy parties this is the wrong A list. But if you like to ramble around the countryside in a Model A Ford, you're in the right group.

Your club leaders didn't do much rambling at the organizational meeting, taking your tour suggestions from the Christmas dinner and assigning them to volunteers willing to develop them into a tour. We've got a good variety of activities spread around the state and country, long trips, short trips, day trips, week trips, overnight trips, picnics, baseball games, race tracks, swap meets, car shows, state parks, and for the Model A fanatics, Niagara Falls and Grand Rapids Michigan. And just in case a good idea was overlooked, the month of September has been reserved to accommodate it. Someone out there knows of a scenic back road that takes you to little country store where you can get a great fried bologna sandwich and pop in glass bottles. Maybe it's a long row of shade trees along a river bank where we could catch a fish or two. It's time to share these treasures with your buddies.
