The purpose of the club is to serve as medium of exchange of ideas, information and parts for admirers of the Model A Ford car, and to aid them in their restoration efforts to restore and preserve the car in its likeness.
To unite in a central organization all owners and enthusiasts of Model A Fords who are interested in restoring and maintaining the automobile in a manner to attract prestige and respect within the community, and it shall further be the purpose of this club to help these persons become better acquainted, encourage and maintain among its members the spirit of good fellowship, sociality and fair play through sponsored activities including the use of the Model A Ford and family participation.

Central Kentucky Model A Restorer's Club is the Official Host for the 2013 MARC National Meet. Lexington, KY is the host city and will have many fun things to do and places to tour. Check out our page for all the information and coming events.
Lincoln County backroads tour is April 21
Bruce and Linda Bailey and Danny and Tammy Godbey have put together a Lincoln County adventure for Saturday, April 21.
A contingent from Lexington will gather at McDonald's in Brannon Crossing Shopping Center, just south of Fayette Mall on U.S. 27 (Nicholasville Road), at 8 a.m.— leaving from there no later than 8:15—and will travel directly down U.S. 27 to meet the rest of the group at McDonald's in Lancaster by 9.
Here are some highlights of the day's activities:
- Scenic drives along the backroads of Lincoln County.
- A visit to a Mennonite community and country store.
- Lunch at the Kentucky Depot Restaurant.
- A drive through a covered bridge to tour a restored one-
room schoolhouse.
- A visit to an early 20th-century Willys-Overland garage,
recently refurbished by the city of Stanford.
- An ice cream stop at an old-fashioned drug store soda
fountain.
It's garage sale time again
Another garage sale is planned for May 18-19 at the home of Delmer and Linda Dalton, 3245 Wellington Lane in Lexington. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the 2013 MARC National Meet.
Donations of all kinds of items are needed. Please price your donated items. If you want to drop off your donations at the Daltons' home, call (859) 223-5078 to make arrangements. If you need your items to be picked up, call Gail Wickersham at (859) 623-6062.
Volunteers to staff the sale are also needed for both days. Call Gail to volunteer and support the club.

The grand, riverboat-era Lafayette is the headquarters hotel for our weekend in historic Marietta, Ohio, May 3-6.
The hotel, listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings, features antique furnishings and luxurious Victorian-style suites. Numerous museums in the area celebrate the quaint way of life from an earlier era in this Ohio River town.
We will leave from McDonald's at Hamburg/Man o' War in Lexington at 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 3. We will return on Sunday, May 6.
